We have done these figures as animated as possible to try and give a true flavour of the hand to hand combat that was a feature of the period - no 'at rest' poses here! They are also as anatomically correct as we could make them, taking some risks in the moulding / casting process in doing so, some figures didn't make the final cut but we think we have ended up with figures suitable for both skirmish and full scale battles. If you also vary the weapons and shields(supplied), a very animated and colurful army can be the result .... have fun! Scale : figures are 28mm scale, which makes them roughly 30mm from bottom of base (approx 2mm thick) to the EYE on an upright figure, obviously if the figure is 'up on its toes' or leaning forward then the height will be proportionately higher or lower! |
